Once Upon a Time, I had a blog. . . . . when my kids were still in preschool, kindergarten & elementary school. These are "diary entries" from then. I'm so happy that I documented along the way. These memories and thoughts are precious to me. They'll be mixed in with modern day musings as well. I hope it helps you know that all mothers are both perfect & imperfect in their own ways. . . . . and we're all just doing our best and trying to raise productive, happy humans.

Dear Diary ~~ Remembering That Time My Dad Fell Through the Second Story Deck

Dear Diary, February 19, 2011

(This was originally one of my Scripture Sunday posts, which were short to medium posts where I tried to find scripture to relate to something going on in my life. It's funny, because it was before I decided to stop coloring my hair. . . obviously!)

My scripture verse today is for my dad.  He was working on rebuilding a second story deck, lost his footing and fell.  He ended up breaking two ribs and a little part of his lower lung is collapsed.  He's okay right now, but he's in a lot of pain.  So, prayers for him would be helpful also.

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17)

My dad is in Florida and I'm in Ohio.  So, I can't be with him!  But, here's some pictures of us last year when we were on vacation.

Everyone have a blessed day!
